How to reset your Shopify theme

To select the file containing the code you just deleted, you need to go back to the Theme Editor. On the left-hand side of the screen, find the Layout folder and click on it to expand it. Then, find the theme.liquid file and click on it.

Once you’ve selected the theme.liquid file, you’ll see a few different options at the top of the screen. One of these options is Older Versions. Click on this to see a list of all the older versions of the file.

Choose the version that you want to restore and click on it. This will bring up a pop-up window asking you to confirm your choice. Click on the Restore button to restore the older version of the file.

If you don’t know the version you want to revert to, there is a Preview button next to each version. This will allow you to see what the file looked like at that point in time.

Once you’ve found the version that you want, click on it and then click on the Restore button to confirm your choice.
