And we’ll cover why, out of all the e-commerce platforms out there, these big brands choose Shopify for their e-commerce needs.
Do big companies use Shopify?
Yes, big brands use Shopify. In fact, there are a surprisingly large number of big brands on there.
Many of Shopify’s top earners have massive market values with the majority of them hitting far more than $1 billion. Some of these big brands have such success with their venture that they later start multiple Shopify stores, a few of which we’ll mention below, and continue to grow their reach with the platform.
So if you found yourself considering canceling your Shopify plan because you weren’t sure about your chances of success, don’t. With all the benefits that come from using Shopify combined with marketing and SEO research, you could also find yourself earning a sizable e-commerce income.
Why are big brands on Shopify?
Shopify is a leading e-commerce giant that was already a dominating force before the Covid-19 pandemic hit. But then quarantine forced everyone into their homes and stores to close. Online shopping skyrocketed and Shopify went from an e-commerce competitor to an e-commerce leader.
Since 2020, e-commerce and Shopify have grown, as many corporations and smaller businesses took advantage of Shopify’s amazing platform.
Easy to use
Shopify’s ease of use might not seem like something a big, multi-million dollar company would worry about. This is especially true when ease-of-use usually also translates into basic shopping capabilities.
But Shopify’s ease of use is the exact opposite. With their varying payment plans, users can have access to extremely powerful e-commerce features at their price point.
With Shopify, e-commerce is made easy but remains powerful, giving big merchants the chance to focus on marketing, selling, and making a profit, instead of trying to figure out a platform that is way harder than it needs to be.
Merchants also have access to the global market with Shopify. It’s extremely easy to sell internationally, as Shopify works our tax, shipping, and more according to region. So while a certain region might need a business license to sell on Shopify, there are very few other obstacles when using Shopify.
A diverse range of apps and features
Shopify has a massive app store that lets merchants edit and/or improve pretty much every aspect of their store. Users can manage everything from shipping, social media, customer service, and edit features like the URL and change the Shopify domain name,
They also offer over 1,500 themes available, each with its own features that users can choose from to help build and develop their brand. Users can also submit a task for custom features for their store.
Whatever it is, users are in complete control and can launch fully functioning stores in almost no time. And as you will read below, many of these brands needed a powerful platform that was ready to run without delay.
Marketing, SEO, and scalability
Besides the features above, Shopify also offers users marketing and SEO features that surpass many other e-commerce platforms. For brands who want to grow their business and expand, this makes Shopify a sure option.
Shopify’s software is built with SEO in mind and gives merchants access to these functions. You can build product collections that have SEO-optimized product descriptions and use meta tags.
Combine this functionality with a marketing team that knows how to optimize for search engines and who can work with social media algorithms, and you could see extreme growth in a short amount of time.
This scalability is great for big corporations but also smaller merchants. It’s what makes Shopify a top choice for all sorts of stores, no matter the size.
Easy cross-channel selling
Shopify understands its users’ need to grow. Cross-channel selling and marketing make connecting to other hubs like Facebook, Pinterest, and Etsy very easy. Users can endlessly expand their reach and continue to grow their store with Shopify.
