About the Shopify business
We are a specialty coffee roaster. We buy from small producers and roast coffee to highlight the unique qualities of terroir. Unlike traditional coffee, we focus on the changing flavour profiles that reflect the unique traits inherent to each harvest. Each cup tells the story of individual producers and farmers.
Describe the experience
We spend some time trying to find the right theme to be able to do both the information and story behind our brand, as well as have a functional store front. While it is a little clunky in terms of functionality, the store front does have enough options to work and we do have the pages for adequate information on the brand.

I wish there was more dynamic engagement with platforms, including shipping options like Canada Post or Fex Ex or Purolator or DHL, as well as search engines, like google. Right now, we have to do a lot of manual information to get into the google store. More options would go a long way.

About the Shopify business
Rosie and Faith is a women’s clothing business specializing in sizes XS to 4XL. Our labelling is very unique. We use words of affirmation instead of regular size tags in order to make every women feel inclusive. I launched it about a year ago after I had my first daughter. My weight gain over my pregnancy has caused me to reconsider beauty standards and thus Rosie and Faith was born. We are selling steadily, there is still quite a bit of room to grow, I learn new skills everyday.
Describe the experience
I have found the theme to be challenging at times, not being a tech person by nature. It could have been laid out a little simpler. I think the theme is a great idea, it certainly has some layers to it that are useful. Overall though it didn’t do what I needed it to. I would suggest to users considering buying this theme to do their research. It’s not a bad theme. The user just needs to make sure it can do what they need it to.

There needs to be a way to navigate the theme a little simpler. At times I found myself completely stuck, the blog area for example is almost too simple, to the point where your not even sure how to go back and edit. The blog section should be just like the other portions of the website, where you can add pictures and sections. It’s the same with the additional pages. Sometimes it felt like the theme had been half put together.

This theme is very well designed, it is perfect for a large amount of SKUs as it can organize many items into different categories. The theme is excellent in terms of providing a clean and minimalist look that can suit most products that one may be trying to sell. If the theme included more customizability such as having more options for blocks / arrangements, collapsible drop menus within the product page, customizable badges on product or collections page, that would be ideal.

Overall I really like the Prestige theme and it offers a very clean and minimalist look. It suits 80% of what I'd be looking for in a theme however there are certain features that I think other themes offer that can be built in such as bulk or volume discounts, pairing of products (bundled discount offers), further flexibility in customizing the product page such as the collapsible tabs (for product features, materials, etc.). Ideally, I would've preferred more support from the developer instead of having to hire someone externally to assist with these features.

We use Zapiet for shipping/delivery, Preorderly for pre-orders, and Bold for subscriptions. We love the look and feel of this theme. It's clean, modern, stylish and easy to navigate. However, the site is very slow, pricey, and the ability to use video throughout the theme is very limited.

Overall, I have found the theme very easy to use, and very appealing to few.
My only issues I have with the theme is the cover photo for product collections, the cropping is a little strange for optimizing both desktop and mobile. I wish I could select an image for desktop, and an image for mobile. Instead of one.

It also integrates well with the apps I am using and I haven't had a situation where I wasn't able to realize what I envisioned.

We like the overall aesthetic of theme. It's flexible and allows us to represent our creativity is a positive way. We like the number of different sections which can be added to a page. This helps us build our brand in a way that supports our customers. Earlier versions of the theme required heavily editing the theme files but we are pleased that this has been fixed.

I believe the home page slideshow should have a higher limit than 5. If the limit cannot be increased, there should be an option to create additional slides and keep them unpublished. This would allow for greater flexibility in showcasing sales events, etc. Currently, the limit of 5 slides restricts my ability to prepare in advance for these events.

We have been selling therapeutic jewelry for the whole family for more than 25 years. We have been using Prestashop, Wordpress and Magento before switching to Shopify.

Basically no negative feedback whatsoever! We always receive quick and effective reply from the developers and we haven't experienced any major bugs since the beginning. We would definitely recommend it to any business with multiple currencies, languages and markets worldwide. The theme is really user friendly and compatible with most apps.

There are a few things that come to mind in terms of insights that I've noticed that the Prestige theme is limited too. I can't remember the exact things but some updates that Shopify itself has added - the Prestige theme can't do those updates and I don't think I can add video to the product pages.

About the Shopify business
It was a joke with an old friend who traveled to New York to study fashion. Frankly, we turned scribbles into actual samples and made the brand, and marketing strategy, the last being small TikTok Influencers, into now being one of the amateur icons in the niche! It was in the base just a little passion project I personally never saw growing to the size it is now, But we sure had fun through the whole process.
Nowadays I'm still occupied with Marketing, We still do Influencer promotions, and expanded into retargeting, and A/B testing which boosted our CR massively.

I received a recommendation to go with Prestige mainly because of its fast loading time and because I value SEO and customer experience (UX). Since I wanted to differentiate my material from the competition heavily, I got help to implement some exclusive additions to the theme's design and functionality, all of this was on top of Prestige's lightweight coding.

Try to take a look at what Debutify is doing with their widget, while doing it more professionally. I'd like Prestige to be a much more versatile theme, which it already is, but just not enough for people who want to put their full creativity into making the website!

About the Shopify business
Cocorose London is a women's shoe brand (typically 25 +). Trainers, Ballet Flats, Loafers, and a small range of accessories. Launched in 2007, migrated to Shopify in 2019 - previously on Magento. Was mostly wholesale business until 2016/17, but always had an online presence - just not a focus until 2017.
Describe the experience
Moving from Magento to Shopify is already a task, particularly if one of the reasons was never having to pay a developer silly money each month. However, finding the right theme I think was more challenging than it should be. We finally settled on Prestige, it was 1.0 - very happy to be frank. There were some features other Themes delivered that this didn't, so we had to add Apps - but it's been solid. We would recommend it.
We then stayed with this theme when moving to 2.0
The developer should give better theme notes - other themes have very good notes. However, support is there when needed and the team helped greatly with support on 2.0

The documentation is not great for help. Look at what themes like Beyond and Impulse give as examples.
Better Product filtering and sorting as standard
I'm not sure why developers don't look at best in class and offer this. Your Theme's "timeline" was one of the clinchers for us.

We are still up in the air with our new theme it has only been a little over 2 weeks since we have made the switch so it’s still a little too early to tell how good it really is but so far we have not had any issues!

I was hired to setup and install the Prestige theme for a client selling sustainable dishware for children in 2017. The business owners value function, beauty and all-natural materials and serve a like-minded target market through their products. The business owners continue to evolve the business with new products and currently sell through this site.

The client selected the Prestige theme and I installed and customized the design. The theme had a lot of marketing features that the client required such as product badges, reviews and press coverage. Overall Prestige was fairly easy to customize and is a great option for small product catalogs and can grow with your business.

About the Shopify business
The Shopify business using this theme focuses heavily on Jewellery and custom Jewellery.
They launched a few years back and they sell high ticket / end products which are great quality. We also took it into our hands to upgrade the theme to Shopify 2.0 to make sure they stay on top in their industry.
Describe the experience
We love prestige! We installed it on our clients Jewellery website and it was perfect out of the box. With some custom design and development added on, it really can take your brand from nothing to a premium store in a matter of days.
The speed of Prestige and the animations is why we fell in love with it. Overall we highly recommend and will continue to use this for future builds.

A lot of the code is webpacked which can make it hard for outside developers to make changes fast and easy.
Maybe simplifying the developer experience for third party developers could be a good suggestion.

I focus on selling cycling related products, it was launched a couple of months ago and I have been consistently testing products that would suit m target market which are cyclist.
Describe the experience
It's easy to customize, the built of this theme is versatile and can be adjusted to most of the niche that you can think of. It would be better if there's a section of "Why Buy from Us" where I can upload icons and text which describes my advantage to other stores. I suggest for the one that will purchase this to look for demo store of this theme in shopify store and visualize what would it look like in their chosen niche/product.

Describe the experience
I enjoyed it's abundance of extra features compared to the base theme debut. It surpassed all of my expectations. I would suggest for anyone who likes features such as a mega menu to use this theme. I can't think of much to be improved.

I like the theme overall, although struggle with some aspects such as banners where it is optimised for viewing; but it over zooms an image etc. it’s also limited in functionality for cool layouts without coding which is fine - but it would be cool to be available as a bonus for shopify plus customers

Describe the experience
Blog is biggest disappointment as lsyout difficult to get images correct for sharing on Pinterest and category search poor as well as archive. Better layout will be required.
Category sort usage difficult but preferred not go go with an app. Most disappointing is lack of true multi currency - but more Shopify issue as well as wholesale management. Main thing would be blog improvement. We didn’t require theme suppory but used documentation for mega menu feature only.
Better mobile on all features so have control from theme customize for all mobile on every section and pages would be desirable.
