Founded in 2008, Purity Style was created out of the desire to try to create a positive change for people and the planet while still delivering a great shopping experience. We love working with our suppliers and believe that while it is a business, it should be fun too.
Describe the experience
Nice theme - faster than my old one and mobile friendly. Easy to use and to set-up. The only feature I have found to be missing is some next/previous buttons on mobile - making it hard for users to click through collections. Dev did provide me with one manual update to get round an issue I had, so good support in general.

Next/previous breadcrumbs on mobile devices for product pages. Please, please, please. Then this theme would have all the features I need. If I realized they weren't there I wouldn't of initially gone with this theme, but having done all the work - I'm now stuck.

Describe the experience
The Alchemy theme has been great for our site. The built in theming is easy to customize and use, the layouts feel intuitive and straightforward, and the easy integration of other Shopify apps into the theme has been great. We would consider more from this developer if we needed a different theme, but Alchemy has been great so far, so we’re sticking with it.

The one thing we would like to be able to change is that when an item is added to cart, there is no clear popup or easy to see state change (only the button text changing to “added to cart”, which can be easy to miss) and no clear way to update this. Otherwise, the theme is great.

About the Shopify business
The store launched in June of 2022. It is a concept store selling various accessories related to holistic lifestyle and summer. We sell journals, tote bags, hair accessories, iPhone cases etc. We want our products to be pretty and colourful and mainly designed by us. Right now we operate solely in Poland but this year we're going to start offering EU shipping.
Describe the experience
The theme looks very modern and stylish, which I love. It automatically gives a feeling that our brand is cool and stylish, as well. Different available functions make the website look professional, such as the announcement bar, sliding banners, slideshows with text, and features lists. It is also very easy to modify and instructions are helpful. I only wish that videos (mp4/mov files) could be placed instead of slideshows and I can't seem to find the feature of incorporating Instagram feed into the website.

I am fairly happy with the theme, it is visually appealing and easy to modify. The only things I would like to see are:
- Possibility of placing video files in slideshows etc.
- A feature to incorporate Instagram/Facebook feed/photos
- More than 5 slides in a slideshow

About the Shopify business
Bombay Island is a specialty coffee brand started in 2018 sources green coffee beans from leading coffee plantations in India, roasts them in-house, and sells them for individual and business consumption. It caters to premium coffee consumers, cafes, and restaurants in India who are looking for an elevated bean-to-cup coffee-drinking experience.

Alchemy is a pretty straight-forward, easy-to-use, and reliable theme. We've been using it for the last 2 years and our experience has been positive. We like the fact that it's easy to customize and make code changes to, our store is pretty speedy in terms of load times and performance, and customers love the aesthetics.

I'd say the only thing that can be really improved in the store is to make it speedier in terms of load times, asset management, etc. Otherwise, it's pretty spot on.

About the Shopify business
We are a specialty coffee roaster, so we use the theme to sell our freshly roasted coffee, as well as coffee brewing equipment and specialty loose leaf teas. We have a few additional apps that work great on the Theme, like subscription and wholesale apps to better serve our customers. If there was ever any trouble getting the app to work on the theme, the developers resolved the issue very quickly.

The Alchemy theme was exactly what we were looking for. I wanted some pre-built in functions like image slideshows, carousels, blogs, collections, etc. I didn't have to do any coding myself, this theme had everything we wanted built in. The ease of use and navigation for our customers has been wonderful and have had so many compliments on the site.

We really do enjoy the theme. A few apps we added to the theme, had to be custom installed by developers, but they handled it very well and got their apps onboarded quickly.

About the Shopify business
We sell balsamic vinegar, olive oil and products that complement these two categories such as pasta, sauce, salts, etc, along with gift baskets. Target make is anyone who likes to cook and people looking for a gift for friends, family and corporates gifts. We have been using the theme for about 1-1/2 years
Describe the experience
Not being a developer, this theme is fairly easy to grasp and navigate. We are able to do much of the editing ourselves and like how visual the theme is. We like the drag and drop feature and the modern, sleek look that we can create.
