Sophie Rose Candle Co. is an Eco-Luxe home fragrance brand established in 2017. Our candles and other home fragrance products are Eco and vegan-friendly so that they may be enjoyed with meaningful purpose. Our aim is to inspire, motivate, and evoke feelings of well-being through the sense of smell. We also take a holistic approach to self care by making products that not only encourage mental wealth, but are clean, safe for your space and sustainable.

Our overall experience with the Parallax theme has been great! The layout is perfect and allows us to convey a clean presentation of our products. Parallax would be even better if there was a way to embed a short video clip without the need to use a third party such as YouTube. Also, it would be nice to have the ability to add a scrolling/slideshow review section on the landing page that pulls the reviews from the product pages. Other than that, we are truly pleased with the Parallax theme.

It would be great if there was a live chat feature to contact the developer if need be. In the past, when looking for a solution, we were referred to the FAQ or articles that did not cover what was needed.

love the look of the theme, the functionality, we've been wanting to upgrade the theme to the newest version for a while now but haven't had the time. I'm sure the newest version of the theme has even more functionality. Ease of use, not the highest learning curve either. thanks!

I'm not sure what to put here because I don't have the latest version of the theme so I don;t know what needs to be improved. I'm sure the newer version would meet my needs as well

The web store we used parallax theme was selling high end in-ear monitors. This well well made theme helped us to achieve a high class look with the minimum efforts. We had no expertise for building a website but this theme is easy that we can just filling the content. We are happy with it.

Overall experience is positive. We just need to prepare all digital assets according to the theme’s requirement and upload to the shoplift host. The website can be up and running within a day. Of course some fine tuning will be required in the long run. But it is very easy to start with.

Some better instruction for customisation will be helpful for those who’d like to have some more customisation other than the standard look from the theme. Other than that all is well.

Online fitness company selling at home workout gear and nutrition guides. Launched in early 2021 to support our video on demand content platform. Targeting primarily women working out at home, aged 25-50 in Canada and the USA. The theme has been everything we wanted it to be - easy to use, effective, user friendly and with great support as well.

It's been everything we wanted a theme to be. Easy to set up and use, great user experience, we've barely ever needed to make updates to it. All the features we needed were included and any time we've had an issue we've had great support from the team as well.

Nothing really to share, to be honest. The theme has been great and easy to use, which is perfect for what we wanted out of a theme for Shopify selling.

Wylde Brigade offers a collection of small batch blankets woven with history, heritage and heart. Handcrafted by a community of Indigenous Ecuadorian artisans, we work with our artisan partners to promote their unique designs to our customers in Canada and the US. We have been growing very well year to year and working on scaling the brand each quarter.

I love that the Parallax theme is very visual based - our brand is all about the photos and showcasing beautiful photography - and Parallax work perfectly. Editing is always super simple, which is great for a busy business owner. Sometimes the hero image is a little hard for us to use some of the chosen photos we would like, as the image size allowance isn’t always right for it - but that’s our issue with the photos being chosen :)

I think the customer experience with the theme and with Shopify is pretty straightforward and works really well. I would suggest maybe the ability of uploading any size of photo and having it resized to whatever is the recommended for the area - that would be smooth.

We like the flexibility of this theme and the "Parallax" functionality. We have run into a couple minor functionalities that we wish the theme would have had out of the box, but other than that it has served us well.

Cheerfetti is an online gift shop offering gifts to thank, console, celebrate, and spread cheer. We launched in 2020 and have been delivering packages of cheer coast to Canadian coast ever since. We serve both individuals and corporate customers looking for artisanal and cheery gifts with superior customer service. We offer both pre-designed and custom gift box options.

The Parallax theme from Out of the Sandbox was easy to install, and everything from the previous (free) theme I was using transferred over smoothly, from what I can remember. I love the static header, the ability to create 3 columns of content on the home page, and the ability to have various product filters. In the end, I had to disable the parallax image scrolling function to improve site speed, and another theme more recent from Out of the Sandbox would probably work better for my needs now. There's a paid priority support option which is nice, otherwise you do have to wait up to a week to get support. All in all, I'm happy with this theme but will likely be upgrading to another one of their themes in the future.

We are a small leather-working brand started in 2011 and devoted to making quality hand-crafted leather cases for electronic devices, especially phones, tablets, and laptops.

It is a very well-thought-out theme with a great focus on imagery and product, so it was a good fit for us. The team has kept it up to date with all of Shopify's changes and has done a great job with the documentation.

I reached out a couple of years ago to see if they were planning to add a mega menu to the theme as they had done with some other themes of theirs. They said that it was in the works and should be released in a few months. That was over 2 years ago and it seems like this got shelved. I'd love to see it incorporated.
