We're an online vegan superstore and retail store selling a range of food and drinks, chilled and frozen goods along with footwear. Our USP is we're entirely vegan run and owned and offer advice on all of our products and guidance on how best to approach a plant based diet. We've been going for around 12 years and we moved to Shopify when we moved to our new premises to streamline our POS and website and we installed the theme on our site as we liked the look and feel of the theme.

We're happy with the Canopy theme and the time we have needed support we've been happy with the response. There are things we'd like to see added to the theme however which would save us buying additional add ons. We currently pay for product badges and labels for example which was something which we'd expected would have come with the theme as standard and all of these extras can add up to a hefty monthly bill.

We have an additional checkout fee which we add for customers when ordering chilled or frozen goods. We'd firstly love if this fee could be added via the theme (unlikely I think). But the fee does not work with quick checkout and this really spoils our customers checkout process as changing quantities/amending items from the shopping cart page with the additional app we have installed for the fees makes the shopping cart process slow and tedious for our customers. This may not be an issue your end but it would be useful if we found a workaround for this as this is our only bug bear with the current setup of the site.

The Canvas theme is perfect for Polly Lane - we wanted a website that was user-friendly, intuitive and therefore easy for everyone to use. We also wanted a minimalist feel as our products are the real heroes : ) The custom styles you can choose from are aesthetically pleasing and gave us everything we were looking for.

It would be great if the themes were slightly more customisable i.e. we'd like to be able to move the text in the product descriptions as our longer descriptions would look better if they stay underneath the product, not to the left/right of it.

My site sells a variety of products based on my watercolour artwork, including art cards, limited edition prints, and original watercolours. The redesigned version of my site using the Canopy Theme launched in 2018. Perfect timing to ease into the new online selling spurred by the pademic. Love the clean, simple design of Canopy to showcase my artwork.

I chose Canopy because of the clean, simple and uncluttered design. It allows my work to shine without the visual interruption that many themes have. The theme has provided all the functionality that my site needs and I've never found myself wishing for things it can't provide. I've been very happy with this theme and intend to continue with it for years to come.

The truth is, Canopy has had everything my simple site needs. I would have been happy to provide helpful feedback for you to improve the theme but I'm happy with it as it stands!

Kaliko is an indie plant dyeing studio selling handmade products, and crafting supplies, offering workshops and collaborations. We launched in 2017 and we serve people interested in handmade textiles. Since day one we are a 1-person company with occasional support from freelancers. It's my full-time and only job. We rely on traffic generated by our social-media presence.

The most important for me was being able to have the translation, as Kaliko is based in Berlin, Germany but ships all products worldwide. I loved how the theme looks and that it's easy to build. I didn't have high requirements otherwise, other than highlighting beautiful imagery. I built the website myself within a few days.

So far nothing comes to mind, the theme did the job it promised. As a tiny one-person shop, all I needed is translations and I got that. Other than that love that the support team was easy to reach and super helpful.

We are using the Canopy theme from Clean Canvas for over 3 years and the most significant reason for us to use Canopy is its look and feel. The option we have selected is the best theme currently available for a business of our kind. We are delighted from the moment we started to configure the theme as we have received a number of commendations for the usability, cleanliness and the look & feel of the entire website. The features built to the theme and the new features added in the latest updates keep the entire theme alive and we can't see a reason why we should be looking elsewhere. The support we received from the Clean Canvas team is absolutely top notch too.

If I have a concern, the most likely thing come to my mind is the speed. Now most of the search engines consider the site speed when they are being ranked. Canopy is a bit heavy theme so sometimes takes little longer to load. It has never been a big worry for us but this is definitely something they can improve, I hope.

We are a brick-and-mortar retailer in NSW Australia that manufacture and deliver steel water tanks and other associated products, including other outdoor products we can manufacture from the same materials like raised garden beds, wood hutches, above-ground ponds, and more. While we've always been a small local business, in the last few years we have made the jump to having an e-commerce platform where people can buy and order their water tanks all online. This has not only expanded our online presence but allowed us to increase our market outside of our local area and expand onward and outward, leading us to be one of the leading water tank manufacturers in the country.

The theme has had more than a few updates in the time that we have been using it, each one adding some helpful functionality. The biggest update was the move to being a Shopify 2.0 store which went very smoothly thanks to a detailed and easy to understand guide. Clean Canvas who produces the theme as a whole has very easy to understand guides, but I do feel that there are not enough guides for everything. I also feel that Canopy may have less than some of their other premium themes. The in-built customisation though is strong enough for the majority of shops. I think one of the strengths of the theme is the amount of customizability that is in-built, to the point you could have two stores running Canopy with the same images and copy but different settings and they would look completely different. It's very simple to make a pleasing looking website with the theme's built-in building blocks, and there's a wide enough grouping of them in general for most to be satisfied. If you do need more, the code is clearly laid out and fairly well documented, at least to me as a complete novice.

I think there could be a bit more documentation on a wider range of topics that are still specific to the Canopy theme. I'm glad the option has been added for the focus point of images, but I'm yet to see a place in the theme where it actually functions correctly. For that matter, the only real struggle that I have had with it so far is trying to get certain image aspect ratios to crop from the correct part of the image even when using the image centring options.

Maplerose is using the Canvas theme. We sell homeschooling supplies and Waldorf-inspired arts and craft supplies mainly to parents and teachers who value creativity, connection and sustainability. Our products are environmentally-friendly snd ethically produced. When the pandemic happened we became very busy and customers were drawn to us no just for our products but because the site is beautiful, easy to navigate and calm, as many reviews stated. We are trusted and that is in part because of the design.

I love how clean my shop looks and customers respond to that. They often say it feels calm and I take that as a great compliment. I need more options to display variants on products with more than 15-20 variants (ie colours) so that swatches can be displayed in a gallery format.

I would like a gallery view for swatches (colour variants) when purchase can be made by clicking the swatch. I have other products that have two variants that need to be chosen and this becomes very clunky and not clean. I would like single options in each drop-down and not every variant combination available. It’s confusing to customers when they choose a colour. They have to choose the name from the drop down and not click on the swatch. It’s not intuitive and hard to navigate when there are over 50 variants available.

We love big statement indoor plants. However, finding the right pot for these plants is always a challenge, and often means settling for functional mass-produced designs. As an answer to this we created a range of extra large indoor plant pots with high levels of design and craftsmanship. Combining a beautiful statement plant with one of our large contemporary plant pots provides a centrepiece for any interior that makes plants look their very best.

The Canopy theme looks great and gets lots of compliments. It has been easy to use and simple to modify so that even though it is based on a well-know theme our website still looks unique. The neutral design is the perfect theme for our type of product (homeware) and we have stuck with it since day 1.

Would be useful to have a template page for newsletter signups (and an option for showing a popup on landing). Had to design the newsletter page by hand and use another plugin to get the popup features I wanted.

Our business is a mix of a clothing brand and resource for a local town and state park. This theme is perfect for us. We first used the theme in 2021 and it has been an amazing experience since. We were worried it would slow the site down like some themes but it didn’t!

The Canopy theme is a perfect theme for our website. From the store to custom pages, the theme has a modern and smooth feel that is very eye appealing to customers. The ability easily edit and customize the theme to our needs is a huge plus. It has always loaded fast unlike some of the other themes we first tried out! We’ll be sticking with this theme hopefully for forever!

Some of the text with icons can stack a little weird on mobile. I’m not sure if there’s a a fix but it would be nice to see if it could be tweaked for a little more smoother look on mobile.

We launched in August 2020 due to being out of work on an il-timed career break just before the pandemic. The business has struggled with having had 3 separate break-ins at our commercial premises but with the support of our customers and local community we continue bouncing back stronger than ever.

The look of the theme is modern and very in-keeping with a food business. Having a permanent cart drawer as well as mega menu within the theme made the build and makes the maintenance super easy and simple. We use Recharge Payments to power our subscriptions and it works perfectly within the theme.

We are yet to experience any difficultly with the theme as it works as expected, and is very well designed. We haven't had to make many customisations for this reason.

We have found this theme to be extremely user friendly and the updates have all been quality upgrades that add more flexibility to customise our website. The support is always quick to reply and have always assisted us with answering our questions. We have used this theme for over 7 years now and will continue to do so.

Maybe some assistance or training on creating new pages. It took me a while to work it all out. Also more help with making the theme for google friendly in terms of rankings and speed.

My shop sells limited edition collectibles and I have a relatively large catalog of a few hundred SKUs, so ease of search and navigating my site is of primary importance. My customers enjoy exploring the site for extended periods of time, and making it easy for them to click around and find what they are interested in is really crucial to my sales. I love Canopy, it's super easy to use / adjust and looks and works great on mobile.

I like the adjustability of the home page, the layout of the buttons and ecom functions. Everything is in the right place and easy to find. Customizing this theme has been easy even for me, a relative novice. I have a bit of HTML experience but not much, so having an interface that doesn't require much coding is ideal for me. I wish the search bar could be more prominent and be placed into the theme in different places to facilitate use.

My one gripe moving forward with all theme developers is: work with Manifold to adjust your theme to accommodate their tool to tokengate the Shopify store and allow interaction between NFT holders and the shop (discounts and tokengated goods). So that moving forward we have a greater choice of themes to use in our shop. That will be my next big move with my Shopify - incorporating Manifold tokengating technology which is already a part of the Shopify ecosystem, but only supported by 2 very basic themes. I have more complex theme needs and I also need to work in the tokengating soon so I will have the change themes to do that, currently.

Since 2017 we have been specializing in the comfort of women during their menstrual cycle thanks to healthy, ecological and economical products such as menstrual panties and menstrual cups. Our customers are mainly in western Europe but we ship worldwide within 2 days. We could be defined as a DNVB company.

We chose this theme for it's elegance and clarity of presentation. It reflects our brand image. It has also been advised by our web agency for its ecommerce performance (speed, SEO). The themes's features meet our needs. I regret however the management of variations (options such as size, color, etc). Once on the product page, an article is by default automatically selected (the first of the list) and this leads to order errors from customers.

I suggest to the developer to offer the possibility to the user to better manage the Hn tags (we had to touch the code in order to get hold of it).
